High-yielding Italian type. Very glossy, uniform, black to purple fruits are 6-7" long by 3-4" in diameter. Strong plants produce early, firm fruits. High yielding, even in the North. Hybrid.
A lilac colored, smooth, very attractive, Japanese variety with fine flavor. Delicious in stir-fry dishes. Slender fruits, 2" across, 8 to 10" long, are borne early on upright plants. Proven tops for performance, flavor and wide adaptability. The stunning eggplant is as easy to grow as peppers but thrives in hotter weather. Hybrid.
Eggplants are long and slender with tender magenta skin. Productive plants yield up to 20 fruits each and are vigorous and stress tolerant. Slim fruits average 1-2" wide; plants should be staked for straight fruit. No peeling required. Heirloom.
The plant looks like a typical eggplant (thorns and all) with a 16 - 20” spread until the stems and fruit start to form. Then the 12 - 16” stems produce 6 - 8 pumpkin-like fruits that ripen from green to red to burnt orange. . Either fresh or dried, they add unique texture and detail to arrangements. Heirloom.
