Onion, Red- Cabernet

Medium-sized bulbs with very nice internal color plus a stroke of brilliance: stems flop down without crimping before maturity, allowing continued growth while preventing disease from reaching the bulb. Stores well, but is also used fresh. Widely adapted for both size and earliness. Heirloom.

Onion, Sweet- Walla Walla

Light brown skin and very mild, sweet white flesh. Improved variety produces large round bulbs, upright tops and necks that dry down well. Heirloom.

Onion, Yellow- Talon

Organic long-day storage onion. Medium-large, blocky globes with thick, clean skins for long storage. Excellent flavor for cooking. Hybrid.

Shallots, Eschalion- Creme Brulee

Iridescent peachy pink skin covers uniform bulbs. Also called "banana shallots", eschalions are highly desired by chefs because their elongated bulbs are easy to peel and cut, and their sugar profile is perfectly suited for caramelizing. Long storage potential. Hybrid.

How to Order

Order cycles open in our online store on Earth Day, April 22nd. First pickup is on opening day of the Bellaire Farmers Market, May 20th. Order early to insure you reserve the plants you want. Utilize multiple pickup days to avoid getting overwhelmed with too many plants for one weekend's work!
